Mt. Baker Washington Elopement

This Mt. Baker elopement shoot was my first real taste of the beauty that Washington has to offer and I can definitely say that it lived up to all my PNW dreams! When searching for elopement locations in Washington, North Cascades National Park quickly jumped to the top of our list because of the mountain scenery, glacial lakes, meadows, and ruggedness of the nature in the large wilderness area. Looking more into the best spots in the park, we landed on Mt. Baker and although it technically isn’t part of the official park, we chose it specifically for the snow dusted mountain backdrop and the beautiful lakes nearby. It turned out to be the perfect choice! We started out at Picture Lake (known for wildflowers in the summer and the way the water reflects the mountain landscape behind it) and made our way over to Bagley Lakes - my personal favorite spot - to wrap up the day. A dream.

Photographing Anna and Delaney was such a blast - they have an amazing chemistry together and you can’t even tell this is the first time they’ve ever gotten photos taken. I am OBSESSED with their love and the way they bring out the biggest smiles on each other’s faces. Delaney absolutely rocked the Aegean dress from Rue De Seine that she wore and Anna complimented her in a neutral shacket and pants. I loved the combo of casual and boho and it just goes to show that you can wear whatever you want on your elopement day! What matters most is that you feel comfortable and like yourself!

I can’t wait to explore more of Washington with other amazing couples, but for now I’m going to gush over these photos and excitedly share them with the whole world.
