“Carrie Rogers... I cant say enough great things about her and her work. I met her about 6 months before my husband and I decided to elope, we talked about my relationship and what I envisioned and hoped she could capture. I shared my thoughts and told her what I was nervous about, which was my husband not liking pictures very much (he's sort of a serious, shy type of guy). Carrie ensured me that it would be fine and promised to capture real life moments. She delivered! She met us in Santa Barbara on our day, and before meeting with us she went to the bluffs before hand to do her own mini research of the area. This is where she found the perfect location for our first look, a stunning wooded area with unbelievable greenery all over. I admit, sharing our vows on that day is something that will forever be special but my first look is something that I will NEVER forget. Not only was the location perfect (To die for) but she played our song as I walked behind him and as we stood staring at each other for the first time before we said "I DO". I was so nervous that day and at that moment, I completely forgot about wanting this played, but here comes Carrie with a speaker hooked on to her belt playing our song in the background and snapping away. How awesome right? Thinking about this again, honestly makes my heart flutter, might sound cheesy, but when you are in the moment, these feelings are so real, so magical and so precious. I wish I could relive this moment over and over again, and in a way I sort of can because of all the great shots she took. It was honestly a moment out of a movie because of her. The images she captured were so intimate and beautiful but yet so real. It makes me smile just thinking of me and Ali being silly, laughing, hugging and holding hands while we heard the waves crashing behind us along with all the clicks of the camera and Carrie saying "you guys are doing great, these are going to look so good". We are so glad she was our photographer. Her pictures are gorgeous and she is so sweet and professional. Carrie, girl you are the bomb!”
