Malibu Creek State Park Pre-Wedding Couples Portraits

Katie and Drew, like many other couples, unfortunately had to postpone their wedding this year due to COVID. They are both animators so they originally drew their own save the dates but with the new extra time before the wedding they decided they would go ahead and take some engagement photos too — and that’s how we met!

After going over location options they decided on Malibu Creek State Park, which is one of my favorite places in the LA area for a mountainy / woodsy vibe. Their outfits and fun dried floral bouquet went perfectly with the rustic scenery and the weather was perfect the whole evening! I loved hanging out with these two and capturing their goofy, light-hearted personalities as well as some other photos that show the sweeter side of their relationship.
