Malibu Canyon Couples Session
This couples session in Malibu was one of the first shoots I did after after almost 3 months of quarantine (because COVID ugh) so I was VERY excited to pick up my camera and be creative again! I actually met Ariana when I first moved to California a couple years ago at a photography meetup where she was modeling so this isn’t the first time she’s been in front of my camera! It is the first time she and her boyfriend have gotten photos taken together though so it was super fun to capture these for them. I’m officially convinced now that they are both models haha.
We started our session up in the hills of Malibu Canyon where we found a pullout on the side of the road and a trail leading to this epic little spot with an amazing view. Pretty soon some crazy clouds rolled in and although I’m usually not a fan of clouds, I think it actually made these photos even cooler! The next spot we visited was Point Dume just a short distance away. We grabbed some photos in front of the colorful flower arrangements in the neighborhood before making our way to the cliffs for a few other shots.
