Sunrise Engagement Session at Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park
I’ve been dreamingggg of visiting Yosemite National Park FOREVER and getting to shoot a sunrise engagement session at Glacier Point made my first time here unforgettable! It had been rainy and gloomy during the week so we were constantly checking the weather on the days leading up to this morning praying for sunshine. And SUNSHINE we got!!
Glacier Point is a short walk from the parking lot so we arrived in time to walk to the viewpoint before the sun peaked over Half Dome. The light was so soft, bringing out the blues and purple in the granite rock. Then when the sun finally began to peak, the sun rays shined through and began to warm up the sky with the prettiest glow. I don’t think we could have asked for a more magical sunrise!
And of course Nikki and Jacob were a freakin dream! Firstly, they got up at the butt crack of dawn to shoot with us and still managed to looked like superstars. They’re so chill and natural in front of the camera so it wasn’t too hard to get a million good shots of them. I’m so obsessed with these photos and this place! I can’t wait to come back here again and again. 😍
