Griffith Observatory Engagement Photos
The Griffith Observatory is a classic Los Angeles location that offers the perfect backdrop for an engagement or couples session. The blend of beautiful architecture, city views, and surrounding natural scenery make the space especially diverse and fun to photograph. Each time I’m there, I find myself inspired by new pockets of light, the different colors in the landscape, or just by taking a fresh look at some of my favorite go-to spots.
If you’re interested in a session here, I highly recommend scheduling at sunrise to avoid the evening crowds. The light as the sun rises over the city in the morning is absolutely beautiful and parking will be easy - and free!

Yes, on a limited basis. If you are interested in a day/time that is not available on the booking link provided, please reach out through the main contact form on my site. My regular session price ($1500) will apply.

I do not book mini sessions more than 30 days in advance, however if you’re interested in a full session, you can submit a form through the link above, select the next closest date, and just note your actual desired date in your message. If your date is available, I’ll follow up as normal with a contract and invoice — or alternate dates, if I’m not available. I typically don’t book sessions more than 2 or 3 months in advance, depending on the season.

I think this location fits best with an elevated semi-formal look, however I recommend choosing outfits that you feel comfortable and confident in! I’m happy to share inspo or chat through ideas after booking if you’d like extra help.
