Lexi and Nick had an intimate wedding at Garrapata Beach with just their immediate families. They rented a beautiful home in Carmel Valley, where they got ready with their parents and siblings, and then shared a first look in the property’s backyard. For their ceremony, they gathered their group together on the beach in Garrapata State Park, where a few of their loved ones performed the ceremony and they shared personal vows. Just as we wrapped up family photos, it started to rain, but Lexi and Nick embraced the weather and adventured along the beach and nearby cliffs for their newlywed portraits. As much as I typically love a golden sunset, there is something so romantic and magical about the photos we captured on this overcast evening. The couple ended their day with a private dinner at their rental home where they were joined again by their families. Overall, I couldn’t be more excited about the photos from this day — it was such a beautiful experience that felt really special to photograph.
