French Estate Wedding | Brittany + Rey | Orange, California

I’ve typed and retyped this thing a dozen times because I literally don’t know where to start with these two!! Their engagement session was our first official meeting and those can be a little intimidating initially, but Brittany and Rey were just so sweet and fun to be around, it didn’t even feel like I was working at all. It was the BEST thing ever and I left our shoot even more excited to for their wedding day, which of courseee was just as amazing as they are.

Their day was just so full of HAPPY from start to finish and really made me love what I do even more. One of my favorite moments was during the ceremony when Rey tried to kiss Brittany after saying his vows (before they were announced husband and wife) and the officiant was like “no, not yet!” and Brittany started laughing SO HARD. She has one of those super contagious laughs/smiles so of course all the guests were laughing too and I couldn’t stop cheesing behind my camera either. Those photos are shown in the gallery below and are some of my favorites from the whole day because they make me smile so much.

Throughout the rest of the day,  I kept catching little “hey, we’re married” glances/hugs/smiles/kisses between the two newly weds and it was the cutest thing ever. I’m pretty much obsessed with them. On top of everything, Brittany made me feel so welcome and appreciated during the day (HER day) and completely trusted me in my work. That is something that means so much to me!

Azusa Canyon Engagement Session | Ashley + Chris | California Wedding Photographer

Ashley and Chris are such a sweet couple and I feel so blessed that I get to work with them!! Their engagement session was so fun and considering we couldn’t find a bathroom on the way to the location, I’m honestly surprised no one peed their pants with all the laughing we did hahaha. So excited for their wedding in March!

PS: there’s more #piggybackfunnies (refer to last blog post if confused) at the end so make sure to scroll all the way down ;)

Joshua Tree Boho Styled Elopement | California Elopement Photographer

Joshua Tree National Park is the PERFECT backdrop for a romantic desert elopement and the sunsets there are some of the most amazing I’ve ever seen. These photos are the best proof I can give you!

Zo’e is a model babe for real for real but I think we can all agree her husband Mike is also a model?! I love the hashtag she’s been using on instagram: #getmikeysigned hahaha. Seriously, they were just amazing to photograph together and so much fun!! Oh, and the FLOWERS. Ale created the dreamiest floral arrangements that complimented the desert colors and the overall theme of our shoot so perfectly!! *heart eyes*

Want photos like this but don’t want to miss out on spending your wedding day with all your friends and family? Schedule an adventure session sometime after your wedding (or before — early first look, anyone??) in an epic location that’s special to the two of you! Any excuse to put your dress back on is a good idea, right??

Wendell + Naela - Palm Springs Engagement Session

This was one of the most fun engagement sessions I've ever had! Jesse came with me for the road trip and we hopped in the car with these two as soon as we met up and drove around to find a few spots to take photos (with a slushy stop in between). It was sooo hot (as can be expected from a desert town in mid-summer) but we still managed to get some great shots and had an awesome time too! We ended the night with sushi and drinks and Wendell and Naela showed us around the downtown area. Pretty perfect first Palm Springs experience if you ask me. Hopefully we all get to hang out together again soon!!

Peyton + Kalyl - Franklin Canyon Couples Shoot

Hey you, thanks for reading my blog!! I don't normally start out my blogs like this but I'm doing an experiment to see how many people actually read these things hahaha. SOO when you finish scrolling through these photos, give the post a "like" (it doesn't tell me who the likes are from, just how many, so don't worry I won't know who you are) and if you're coming from IG and don't mind revealing your identity, comment a BEAR emoji on my last post to let me know you saw this!

Anyways, thanks for playing along, now here's what I have to say about the photoshoot this post is actually for:

It's one of my favorites. Like I'm very much obsessed with how cute these two are together! I also have all the heart eyes for this location. Just look at that golden grass, the lake, and those awesome freaking trees all over the place. AND I GUESS we can talk about that sunset too!! Creeping through the trees all warm and cozy like God shining his love right down on us. Okay idk if that analogy works but whatever. You get the point. It was an awesome sunset that made me squeal a little. Scroll down to see some of my very favorite photos I've ever taken.

Neha + Amit - Santa Monica Beach Couples Shoot

Bianca + Anthony - Ascot Hills Sunset Shoot

If you look up "best sunset spots in LA" Ascot Hills will almost always be a top recommendation in whatever article you click on -- and for good reason!! There are a couple different trails you can take to get up to a higher point that will give you an awesome place to catch the sunset and an amazing view of downtown LA. Anthony and Bianca are such a sweet couple and I loved photographing them.

It's not unusual that a lot of guys really aren't into doing photoshoots and Anthony admitted that at first he wasn't excited but when we were finishing up he said "this was kind of fun". Probably one of my favorite things to hear haha. I always try to make things as easy-going and fun as possible and if you're worried about having a photoshoot where the photographer tells you to smile at them the whole time, just know that's not how it will be with me! (can't say I won't encourage a lot of PDA though ;) )
